Dennis Hunter and his family and friends are avid gardeners. With twenty years of hands-in-the-soil gardening, Dennis got interested in some new ideas that could make gardening easier and more fulfilling. Five years ago he started experimenting with containers made of geotextile fabric.
His results were amazing. From the first season their fabric pots promoted more vigorous growth and a higher yield, even in containers that were smaller than they would usually use.
So, Dennis started making his own pots to see if they could perform even better. His goal was to develop the best garden container ever, one that would allow any interested person to be able to garden successfully, whatever their skills or space situation.
Based on his experience, he knew the planter had to be made of breathable material that would aerate the soil and air prune the roots; t had to be durable enough to last for years in the real world of outdoor gardening; it had to pack compactly and be super easily assembled; it had to be affordable.
From these criteria came the self-supporting GeoPot (some with convenient handles). Next came the PVC-framed GeoPlanter, and later the GeoTransplanter, with its innovative Velcro seam.
The GeoPlanter and GeoPot fulfill and exceed expectations in ease of use, optimization of root zone dynamics, and versatility. They can even be machine-washed! Plus, GeoPots are more economical than any other fabric pot on the market.
